Software Engineer - Integration Specialist - Remote

In this role, you’ll design and develop API-based connections between core banking systems, digital platforms, and fintech partners—driving real-time data exchange for payments, analytics, and operational workflows. In Short

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful services, webhooks, and batch ETL jobs.
• Implement integrations using internal microservices and/or middleware.
• Build and manage data models, mappings, and transformations.
• Establish secure authentication/authorization patterns.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines and automated tests.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements.
• Create and maintain documentation for integrations.
• Troubleshoot production incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Perform other duties as requested or required.

Requirements

• Proficiency with REST/JSON, XML/SOAP, and eventing.
• Strong SQL skills and ETL/ELT experience.
• Ability to use AI effectively.
• Experience with .NET and Python is a plus.
• Experience integrating with credit union core platforms.
• Experience integrating with digital banking platforms.
• Hands on with Git and cloud services.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on system integration/API development.
