Senior Accountant, Technical Accounting - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant, Technical Accounting professional to join our Corporate Accounting team. This role is responsible for researching, evaluating, and implementing complex accounting issues in accordance with U.S. GAAP.

In Short

• Research and interpret accounting literature to support appropriate accounting treatment for complex transactions.
• Lead or support the implementation of new accounting standards.
• Assist in the preparation of technical accounting memos and whitepapers.
• Provide technical accounting guidance on M&A transactions and other non-routine transactions.
• Collaborate with external auditors and facilitate the audit process.
• Monitor and communicate changes in accounting standards.
• Assist in developing and maintaining accounting policies and procedures.
• Provide training and support to the broader accounting team on technical topics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in a technical accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
• Experience preparing technical accounting memos and implementing new standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with ERP systems preferred.
