Overview

The Patient Services Representative provides clerical support to assist in the delivery of quality health care services, including patient registration, appointment scheduling, and maintaining medical records.

In Short

  • Greet and communicate with patients and visitors.
  • Collect payments and co-payments.
  • Answer telephone and schedule patient appointments.
  • Process and sort mail and produce reports.
  • Document patient phone calls in EHR.
  • Confirm patient demographic and insurance information.

  • Maintain patient medical records.
  • Participate in safety initiatives.
  • Complete required competencies and requirements.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Preferred: One-year certificate from college or technical school.
