Overview

The Nurse Navigator for Surgical Optimization is responsible for providing quality education, follow-up, and emotional support to patients and their families, managing care across inpatient and outpatient settings to ensure continuity and effectiveness of care.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Nursing required; Master's preferred.
• MI Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• 5 years of relevant nursing experience required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months.
• Oncology Nursing Certification required within 1 year.
• Prior teaching experience preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and teams.
• Experience in quality improvement processes.
