Overview

The Microsoft Support Administrator is a valued member of the Coretek NOC team responsible for providing 24x7 Level 2 support for client environments.

In Short

  • Provide technical support for Microsoft products including Microsoft Azure, Windows, Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive), and Power BI.
  • Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 user accounts, licenses and groups.
  • Manage and support Microsoft Exchange Online, including email flow and mailboxes.
  • Perform Active Directory administration and troubleshooting such as group policy management.
  • Respond to support tickets and resolve issues related to Microsoft and Azure environments in a timely fashion.
  • Assist in backup, recovery, and security best practices using Microsoft tools.
  • Escalate and collaborate with Coretek engineers and Microsoft to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Track the progress of client incidents and requests to ensure timely resolution.
  • Create and maintain IT knowledgebase articles.
  • Assist with cross training of other NOC support team members as needed.

Requirements

  • Detail-oriented and technically skilled individual.
  • Strong desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in providing Level 2 technical support.
  • Knowledge of Azure and Microsoft 365 support services.
  • Ability to troubleshoot Active Directory and Microsoft environments.
  • Excellent communication skills for internal and external interactions.
  • Experience with incident management and ticketing systems.
  • Ability to create and maintain knowledgebase articles.
  • Experience in cross-training team members.
