Emergency Food Assistance Consultant - Remote

Overview

This position will play a key role in enhancing CORE's emergency food assistance capabilities during an emergency response by providing technical support across the program cycle, contributing to CORE’s strategy and proposal development, and managing and implementing a gender-sensitive food assistance program responsive to the needs of men, women, boys, and girls.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' humanitarian aid experience.
• Relevant qualification in nutrition, food security, or related fields.
• Expertise in food security and nutrition interventions.
• Understanding of gender-sensitive programming.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under extreme circumstances.
• Knowledge of humanitarian contexts and principles.
• Proficiency in information technology and management.
• Ability to prepare project proposals and concept papers.
• Good communication skills in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
