Manager, Consulting Analytics and Medical Economics - Remote

Overview

The Manager of Consulting Analytics and Medical Economics will be a part of the COPE Health Solutions’ Data Insights and Analytic Services team. This role will be working with a cross-functional team in a centralized firm role, supporting multiple accounts to support the population health analytic and data configuration needs of our clients, current and prospective. The Manager will report to the Director of Medical Economics and Consulting Analytics, and work closely with the data engineering, data management, and consulting teams to develop tools, standard processes, improve models and deliver analytics for account needs.

In Short

• Provide oversight on processes to generate quantitative analyses and reporting that identifies the drivers of health care trends
• Identifies clinical, financial, and operational performance opportunities, based on standard sets of KPI
• Manages validation and documentation processes for team’s work outputs and clients data
• Manage client deliverables from scope development to output generation
• Identify improvement measures to ensure the team provides maximal value
• Collaborate with client account to lead implementation of Analytics for Risk Contracting (ARC) product
• Oversee and ensure monthly refreshes of data are completed
• Supports clients in leveraging our ARC platform in a client facing role
• Engage with account leads and clients to develop project plans
• Provide insight into relevant performance based on reporting outputs

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in quantitative discipline required; graduate degree preferred
• 5+ years of professional experience in complex analytics role
• Proficiency in at least one statistical programming language, preferably SQL
• Collaborative working style with the ability to work across different teams
• Exceptional ability to communicate with technical and business colleagues
• Awareness of population health analytics and healthcare claims data
• Recognition of Medicare, Medicaid and/or Commercial health plan methodologies
• Familiarity with data visualization and Business Intelligence platforms
• Experience in developing and analyzing healthcare analytics reporting
• Ability to facilitate strategic discussions with diverse stakeholders
