Senior Test Manager - Remote

Overview

We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and open-minded Senior Test Manager for our client in the public sector in the Bern area.

• Development and implementation of a comprehensive testing strategy for IT projects.
• Planning, coordination, and management of all testing activities in the company.

• Collaboration with developers, product managers, project leaders, and other stakeholders to optimize testing processes.
• Risk assessment and test coverage for critical IT systems.
• Selection, introduction, and management of appropriate testing tools.
• Reporting to management on testing progress, quality assurance, and risks.

Requirements

• Completed studies in computer science, software engineering, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience in software testing, test management, and quality assurance.
• Solid knowledge of testing methods and processes, test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cypress).
• Knowledge of test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, HP ALM).
• Experience in leading and coordinating test teams.
• Understanding of agile development processes (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban) as well as DevOps and CI/CD practices.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
• Excellent communication skills, assertiveness, and teamwork ability.
• Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
