Senior Scrum Master - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and communicative Senior Scrum Master for our client in the insurance sector in Bern.

In Short

• Ensure the correct application of the Scrum methodology according to the SAFe framework
• Organize and moderate all relevant Scrum ceremonies (Review, Retrospective, Sprint and PI Planning, Inspect & Adapt, Daily Stand-ups)
• Coach and continuously develop Scrum teams
• Promote optimal collaboration within the team and continuous product improvement
• Identify and resolve impediments
• Work closely with architects, product owners, and epic owners
• Support the product owner in maintaining and prioritizing the backlog
• Orchestrate within the SAFe construct and support the Release Train Engineers (RTE)
• Participate in resource planning and procurement

Requirements

• More than 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a comparable role
• Certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or similar are advantageous
• In-depth knowledge of agile methods, especially Scrum and SAFe
• Strong communication and moderation skills
• Experience working with interdisciplinary teams and stakeholders
• Ability to inspire, coach, and enable teams towards self-organization
• Solution-oriented mindset and high initiative
• Very good German skills and good English skills, both written and spoken
