Overview

We are looking for a motivated and open-minded Network DevSecOps Engineer for our client in Bern. In this responsible role, you will take on central tasks in network operations and development according to DevSecOps principles, working in an agile environment to actively shape the future of ICT.

In Short

  • Ensure secure, stable, and highly available operation of network components within a modern digitization platform.
  • Implement and further develop DevSecOps principles in the network area, including automation, security, and continuous delivery.
  • Support and optimize DDI solutions (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) and integrate them into existing systems.
  • Proactive monitoring and event management for early detection and resolution of network disruptions.
  • Incident and problem management focused on quick root cause analysis and sustainable solutions.
  • Conduct changes as part of an agile change enablement process.
  • Continuously improve network services through automation, documentation, and knowledge management.
  • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams (Security, Platform, Development) to ensure holistic operations.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science (studies or vocational training) with several years of professional experience or a career changer with relevant training and work experience.
  • Certifications such as Cisco CCNA or specific DDI certificates are advantageous.
  • Solid knowledge in DNS, DHCP, and IPAM technologies.
  • Extensive experience in managing and implementing DDI solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and experience in automation.
  • Experience with DDI management platforms (e.g., Infoblox, BlueCat) is a plus.
  • Knowledge in project management or network monitoring tools is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills and teamwork ability.
  • Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve network issues.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • Continuous residence in Switzerland for at least 5 years and impeccable conduct.
