IT System Administrator - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an experienced and open-minded IT System Administrator for our client in the healthcare sector in Bern.

In Short

• Operate, manage, monitor, and maintain ICT services for operational use in heterogeneous environments.
• Locate, isolate, and resolve complex issues.
• Initiate technical fallback and/or escalation procedures.
• Trigger recovery, restart, and restore procedures.
• Verify the success of recovery, restart, and restore procedures.
• Control and monitor system load in heterogeneous systems.
• Conduct or initiate tuning and performance measures in heterogeneous systems.
• Monitor information security based on service levels and security profiles.
• Oversee data backup processes.
• Review documentation regarding operational processes, change planning, or fault analysis.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience as an IT System Administrator.
• Completed vocational training or high school diploma.
• Solid knowledge in application and hardware operation as well as very good knowledge in network and service operation.
• Experience with Windows systems, especially in workplace, Exchange, MDM, and SharePoint areas.
• Proficient in service management and familiar with common ticketing tools.
• Good knowledge of the deployed infrastructure and relevant software solutions.
• Fluent in German, both spoken and written.
