Senior Application Security Researcher - Remote

In Short

• Conduct basic and applied research on application security.
• Define and drive research projects independently or collaboratively.
• Engage with product teams and customers for new research initiatives.
• Support gathering of security research data.
• Process emerging threats and evaluate risks.
• Develop and present security research content.
• Provide tier-3 support for security incidents.
• Mentor and direct team members.

Requirements

• Software background in Java and .NET; experience with NodeJS, Python, Ruby is a plus.
• Able to develop and exploit purposefully vulnerable applications.
• Understand OWASP Top 10 and SANS/CWE Top 25.
• Experience in ethical hacking and vulnerability management.
• Knowledge of cloud hosting environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI).
• Strong communication skills.
• 5+ years of experience in application security research or related fields.
• Curiosity and problem-solving skills.
• Provide links to Github or BitBucket and project examples.
