Patent Professional / Patent Attorney for the Tire Sector - Remote

Overview

As a Patent Professional / Patent Attorney, you will be part of the IP team responsible for comprehensive patent law support in the tire sector, collaborating closely with developers and R&D management.

In Short

• Collaborate with developers and R&D management on IP protection.
• Draft and submit patent applications to the German Patent and Trademark Office and the European Patent Office.
• Manage grant procedures and obtain patent rights.
• Handle opposition and nullity proceedings.
• Conduct Freedom-to-Operate analyses.
• Address legal questions regarding employee inventions.
• Project management with an international focus related to IP.
• Support R&D collaborations on IP topics.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with SEP and software inventions.
• Several years of experience in intellectual property law.
• Completed training as a German and/or European Patent Attorney.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Strong teamwork and responsibility.
• Decision-making and assertiveness skills.
• Proactive and independent working style.
