IP Paralegal - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical IP Paralegal to strengthen our IP team in Hannover, Germany. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our patent and legal attorneys and managing various aspects of our IP portfolio, particularly our trademark portfolio.

In Short

• Assist in the preparation, submission, and tracking of trademark applications, and possibly patent and design applications.
• Manage and maintain IP files and ensure all deadlines are met.
• Draft and review IP-related documents, including agreements and correspondence.
• Coordinate with international colleagues for global IP applications and their maintenance.
• Maintain and update IP management systems.
• Generate reports on the status and activities of the IP portfolio.
• Support the development and implementation of IP strategies, particularly trademark strategies.
• Communicate with internal and external clients and attorneys as needed.

Requirements

• Degree as a Patent Paralegal or Legal Assistant.
• Extensive experience in the IP field or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of intellectual property laws and procedures, especially in patent and trademark applications.
• Proficiency in IP management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
• Familiarity with international IP regulations and procedures.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
