Senior Lead Network Engineer - Remote

Overview

CGS is seeking an experienced Senior Lead Network Engineer to join a team focused on the evaluation, enhancement, and maintenance of a large-scale network project that includes both wired and wireless network infrastructure and related hardware & software.

In Short

• Evaluate and enhance a large-scale network project.
• Design and implement network infrastructure.
• Consult on hardware and software necessary for network support.
• Conduct systems testing and vulnerability assessments.
• Interface with governmental personnel and vendors.
• Manage NPS network infrastructure.
• Provide recommendations for network architecture and management.
• Implement technology solutions within the NPS network.
• Provide informal training on network best practices.
• Document network infrastructure and updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• CWNA Certification or equivalent.
• Experience with RF site survey tools.
• Strong knowledge of layer 2 and layer 3 networking protocols.
• Knowledge of network security protocols.
• Experience with disaster recovery planning.
• Working knowledge of LINUX and VMware.
• 3 years experience in vulnerability assessment.
• Knowledge of Agile/SCUM methodologies.
• Additional industry certifications preferred.
