• Independent Contractor / Associate Consultant position available.
• Work on a per-project basis for Building Assessment division.
• Perform Property Condition Assessments (PCAs) for various commercial properties.
• Responsibilities include project set-up, forensic assessment, and reporting.
• Must have three years of PCA experience and knowledge of building systems.
• Advanced technical writing skills are required.
• Must be able to manage multiple projects and deliver on-time service.
• Knowledge of Quire preferred.
• Education in architecture, engineering, or construction management preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) preferred.

Requirements

• Three years of experience completing PCAs in accordance with ASTM standards.
• Understanding of client needs in transactional due diligence.
• Knowledge of building and site systems.
• Advanced technical writing skills required.
• Previous professional work experience in architecture, engineering, building forensics, or construction management.
• Must have a firm grasp of spoken and written English.
• Must be capable of managing stairs and climbing ladders within OSHA safety guidelines.
• Must work as a team member and deliver outstanding service.
• Knowledge of Quire preferred.
• California Independent Contractors must follow AB5 guidelines.
