Asset Management Associate - Affordable Housing - Remote

Overview

The Asset Management Associate is responsible for monitoring property performance and maximizing property revenue to ensure optimal value of assets is achieved.

In Short

• Monitor operations of portfolio and analyze data.
• Recommend strategies for maximizing asset value.
• Review assigned properties to understand financing and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate monthly/quarterly financial reviews.
• Assist property management staff in long-term asset decisions.
• Maintain relationships with lenders and investors.
• Oversee annual budget preparation process.
• Financial analysis and modeling for acquisitions.
• Participate in site audits as needed.
• Other special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• 5-7 years of relevant Asset Management experience.
• Advanced Excel knowledge.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience with Yardi Voyager preferred.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
• Ability to multi-task and manage several projects.
• Excellent business judgment and professionalism.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Prior experience in Multi-family Real Estate preferred.
