Accounting Associate - Corporate/IPP - Remote

In Short

• Assist the IPP accountants with day-to-day activities, primarily with cash reconciliation and billing.
• Support the IPP Account(s) in the management of day-to-day accounting activities.
• Assist on monthly/quarterly management financial and metric reporting.
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations as part of the month-end process.
• Input financial data into accounting systems and maintain accurate financial records.
• Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed.
• Support with the transition of Landowner accounting functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• 1+ years of public or private industry experience required.
• Solid technical knowledge of US GAAP.
• Proficiency in accounting and financial principles, regulations, and accounting software.
• Experience in managing and coordinating multiple projects preferred.
• Wind and/or solar energy project development experience preferred.
