Overview

The Project Manager at Cognite is responsible for leading high-priority industrial AI implementation projects, ensuring alignment with customer strategic goals and delivering measurable business impact.

In Short

• Own end-to-end project delivery from kickoff to closure.
• Translate use case objectives into quantifiable business KPIs.
• Manage complex system integrations connecting OT/IT data sources.
• Ensure project delivery aligns with customer strategic goals.
• Handle project financials including bookings and revenue recognition.
• Act as the main point of contact for customers during project execution.
• Drive change management activities such as user training.
• Leverage Cognite PMO playbooks and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Manage stakeholder communication and expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Be alert to expansion opportunities by understanding customer challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related fields.
• 5+ years project management experience in SaaS or cloud environments.
• Fluent in English plus German.
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
• Deep proficiency in industrial verticals such as Energy and Manufacturing.
• Strong financial acumen and proficiency in tracking project realization.
• Methodology fluency in Agile/Scrum and PMO methodologies.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with project management tools like Jira and MS Project.
