Overview

The Specialist, Data Engineering will support and expand the data platforms that process, store, and organize critical data for our Product Engineering teams, ultimately helping to get more people the medicine they need to live healthier lives.

In Short

• Design and develop solutions for complex data across systems.
• Develop Data Ingestion and Integration pipelines from various sources.
• Work with databases, files, and unstructured data.
• Write program/code in SQL and cloud-based tools.
• Design conceptual data models based on business reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with application development teams.
• Support OLTP Applications and Real-time Analytics.
• Demonstrated expertise in database design and modeling.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Experience with FHIR is a plus.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in Data Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with data warehouse solutions.
• Experience working with structured and unstructured data.
• Ability to find creative solutions to complex problems.
• Experience with business-critical applications.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple functions.
• Strong sense of urgency and ownership for task completion.
• Expert knowledge of cloud data technologies preferred.
• Experience on large-scale implementation programs preferred.
