Now, we’re looking for a skilled Full-stack AI Systems Engineer to take ownership of our AI orchestration and agent infrastructure, and to lead future development of intelligent capabilities across both customer-facing products and internal tools. This is a unique opportunity to shape the backbone of AI systems at CloudZero and bring agentic intelligence into the core of FinOps.

Requirements

• AI Systems Experience: Hands-on experience building and maintaining AI agents, orchestration layers, or task-based execution frameworks.
• Fullstack Chops: Strong proficiency in backend development (Python) with the ability to work on frontend interfaces (e.g., React, Vite, Astro) when needed.
• Cloud-First Thinking: Experience working in cloud-native environments (AWS preferred) and integrating services like Bedrock, Lambda, S3, or similar.
• Generative AI Knowledge: Familiarity with LLMs, embeddings, vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Elasticsearch), and retrieval-augmented generation.
• Strong Collaborator: Comfortable working with distributed teams (outsourced or in-house) and partnering across disciplines.
• Autonomy & Leadership: Ability to take initiative, drive clarity in ambiguous contexts, and make strategic decisions about architecture and roadmap.
• Dev Tools & Pipelines: Experience with common dev tooling and build pipelines (e.g., Docker, GitHub Actions, CI/CD) and observability stacks.
