Policy Analyst - Japan - Remote

Overview

The purpose of this role is to assist the CBI policy team in shaping Japan's climate transition policy in alignment with the CBI’s mission at the regional level and reflecting the positions of member states within ASEAN.

In Short

• Act as a key point of contact for the policy team internally for CBI.
• Mapping of stakeholders in ASEAN/Japan for zero-carbon transition.
• Proactively monitor and analyse key policy initiatives from key markets.
• Develop communication materials and presentations.
• Draft policy blogs, briefs, reports on sectoral transition.
• Coordinate and organise project activities.
• Assist in the project management of all Japan programmes.
• Ensure accurate tracking of all costs and income relating to events.

Requirements

• Experience in policy analysis and sustainable finance.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with local and international partners.
• Proficiency in drafting reports and policy documents.
• Experience in project management.
