Overview

Washington Analysis’ Policy Analysts provide independent and objective analysis and forecasting to the global investment community, delivering actionable research on legislative, regulatory, political, and legal developments.

In Short

• Analyze public policy themes and developments for investment opportunities.
• Provide timely analysis of risks and opportunities affecting markets.
• Publish research reports on macro, fiscal, and tax policy topics.
• Host events and conference calls with subject-matter experts.
• Engage with institutional investors through meetings and presentations.
• Conduct due diligence research projects under tight deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree plus at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in analyzing and presenting public policy developments.
• Strong communication skills for complex information.
• Prior experience in fiscal, tax, or cross-issue policy.
• Understanding of congressional and administrative processes.
• Advanced degree or credentials like JD, MBA, or CFA is a plus.
• Knowledge of financial markets is important.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Entrepreneurial spirit to help grow the policy research business.
