Data Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Data Collection & Management team at CFRA is responsible for collecting and managing various forms of financial data to ensure the highest levels of data quality, completeness, and timeliness.

In Short

• Execute daily collection, cleansing, and validation processes of ETF data.
• Perform region-specific data completeness checks.
• Monitor and perform quality assurance on data ingested via automated processes.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve data issues.
• Monitor automated workflows for failures in data processing.
• Assist in preparing reports on incident reporting and Root Cause Analysis.
• Respond to data-related inquiries from Senior Analysts.
• Maintain documentation of data sources and processes.
• Support ad-hoc data requests and dataset enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or Accounting.
• 2-4+ years' experience in data, analytics, or finance-related roles.
• Familiarity with ETFs, Mutual Funds, and financial instruments.
• Detail-oriented and analytical nature.
• Hands-on experience with ETL operations.
• Knowledge of SQL.
• Experience in managing large datasets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and think creatively.
