Overview

We are looking for a Data Analyst who will build and manage the data function at Scompler from the ground up. You will consolidate existing data on product, sales, and customer success into a single coherent foundation and turn it into insights that enable better decisions across the company.

In Short

Consolidate data from product, commercial, and customer-oriented sources into an integrated, reliable foundation.
Evaluate and recommend BI tools that fit our phase and enable a self-service approach across teams.
Improve event tracking quality in the product to ensure clean, structured, and reliable usage data.
Create churn intelligence by identifying behavioral patterns in churned accounts and translating them into early warning signals.
Develop product analyses that correlate feature adoption with retention and expansion outcomes.
Provide a shared, reliable view per account for Customer Success and Sales.
Manage a transparent backlog of data requests from all departments.
Advise teams on how to formulate data questions and interpret results.
Promote data literacy across the company.
Contribute to reproducible reporting views for GM, investor, and financial reporting.

Requirements

5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Analytics Engineer, or in a similar role in a SaaS or B2B product environment.
Strong SQL skills and experience with real, unstructured data from various sources.
Practical experience with BI tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Metabase, Power BI).
Experience integrating data from CRM systems (ideally HubSpot).
Strong communication skills: able to explain data to non-technical audiences.
Fluent in English; German is a plus.
