Local Consultant for Nigeria Sustainable Finance Taxonomy Development - Remote

Overview

A local consultant is needed to support the development of a Sustainable Finance Taxonomy in Nigeria, aimed at enhancing sustainable investment standards and financial disclosures.

In Short

• Support the development of sectoral papers for climate mitigation and adaptation.
• Assist in refining Technical Screening Criteria (TSC).
• Help develop Do No Significant Harm (DNSH) criteria and Minimum Social Safeguards (MSS).
• Facilitate coordination among stakeholders involved in the taxonomy development.
• Provide support during Technical Working Group meetings.
• Engage in public consultation processes for feedback on the Taxonomy draft.
• Work with Climate Bonds and UNDP on governance arrangements.
• Contribute to finalizing the draft Taxonomy.
• Contract duration from March to August 2026.
• Up to 20 business days of consultancy work.

Requirements

• Experience in sustainable finance and taxonomy development.
• Knowledge of climate finance initiatives.
