Overview

The Consultant Relations Director will be accountable for developing key relationships with strategic consulting houses and for building awareness and growth opportunities at emerging local and national consultancies and/or brokers. In this high-impact role, you'll take charge of managing and enhancing our relationships within the consulting and brokerage community. Collaborating closely with Partnerships and Sales leadership and internal departments, you'll ensure our strategic priorities align with market influencer insights while maintaining a strong and consistent messaging strategy. Your expertise will also play a crucial role in educating industry consultants about Cleo, utilizing various communication channels.

In Short

  • Work in close collaboration with the Commercial & Growth team leadership to drive Cleo’s consulting and industry relationship strategy
  • Present Cleo’s capabilities and educate consultants
  • Develop and implement growth and positioning plans
  • Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders
  • Partner with sales team to refine messaging and optimize interactions
  • Solicit and analyze feedback from partners
  • Coordinate response to RFIs and ensure partners understand Cleo’s offerings
  • Collect feedback to drive product development
  • Deliver tracking, reporting, and accurate forecasting of channel partners
  • Drive high potential leads to Sales Directors
  • Partner with marketing to develop impactful content and strategies

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years experience with benefit and HR consultants
  • Established relationships with leading benefits and HR consulting firms
  • Success in driving sales through understanding client perspectives
  • Strong collaborative skills with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, remote startup environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven track record of building relationships with consultants and stakeholders
  • Ability to set and achieve ambitious goals
