Principal Software Engineer (Safeguards) - Remote

In Short

• Build systems for graduated availability of new code and content.
• Enable reproducibility of outcomes in software systems.
• Create frameworks for developers to write unit and integration tests.
• Support content developers in deploying content safely.
• Design and ship commercially available software products at scale.
• Build and ship self-service B2B SaaS products.
• Expertise in systems programming languages.
• Experience with serverless software on AWS or distributed systems.
• Comfortable working remotely and asynchronously.
• Strong time management habits.

Requirements

• At least 12 years of experience in software engineering.
• Ability to learn Typescript or Rust.
• Experience working at a fast-growing startup.
• Fluency with technologies like GitHub, AWS, GCP, Azure, Auth0, TypeScript, Angular, PrimeNG, Rust, GitHub Copilot, and Claude.
• Ability to thrive in a fully remote organization.
