Overview

As a Principal Underwriter at Clearco, you will be the most senior individual contributor on the diligence and underwriting team, responsible for conducting reviews of customers to make robust credit decisions and developing risk frameworks.

Requirements

• Graduated from a relevant program (analytics, business, finance).
• 7+ years of experience in finance or credit underwriting.
• Prior experience with SMB credit underwriting.
• Extensive knowledge of financial underwriting and credit analysis.
• Passion for financial data analysis.
• Familiarity with e-commerce business models.
• Strong analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Confidence in presenting training on finance and risk management.
• Strong report writing and statistical analysis skills.
