In Short

• Ensure that patients are treated with the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism.
• Maintain incoming patient calls and responding to voicemails promptly, courteously, and professionally.
• Assist billing staff with basic office duties as needed.
• Manage patient billing emails and portal messages with prompt resolution.
• Support as Liaison between billing and operations.
• Responsible for Self-Pay AR and management of accounts.
• Collect patient payments and assist in posting payments.
• Identify patient and insurance credits/refunds.
• Create and manage patient payment plans.
• Handle mailing secondary claims to insurance companies.

Requirements

• BS/BA degree preferred or two years of medical billing and customer service experience preferred.
• Heavy focus on high volume phone calls and emails.
• Bilingual is a plus!
