In Short

  • The Sustainability Data Analyst works within the Bureau of Sustainability to analyze internal and external data sources to inform policy development, implementation and administration.
  • Assists in the development of analytics and other tools to inform building energy efficiency, electrification, emissions reductions, and sustainability.
  • Creates data stories by building interactive dashboards and data visualizations.
  • Ensures quality control on data streams used in sustainability metric reporting.
  • Supports special projects as assigned by Bureau and Agency leadership.

Requirements

  • A baccalaureate degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in energy generation or conservation work.
  • Experience in data analysis and reporting.
  • Knowledge of sustainability metrics and building decarbonization.
