Overview

The NYC Department of Consumer and Worker Protection (DCWP) is seeking a Supervisor to manage the Licensing Division, overseeing the application processes and ensuring effective operations.

• Manage day-to-day operations of the Licensing Unit.
• Supervise and train staff to ensure productivity.
• Develop and implement internal systems and procedures.
• Conduct intake of applications and liaise with legal staff.
• Process applications across various categories.
• Coordinate special projects related to licensing.
• Perform data entry and quality assurance tasks.
• Assess staff performance and provide feedback.
• Identify operational problems and recommend solutions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Baccalaureate degree and three years of administrative experience.
• Experience in a supervisory role is required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
• Experience with mediation and reconciliation preferred.
