Senior Procurement Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Senior Procurement Analyst will oversee the procurement of services and goods for the NYC Department of Consumer and Worker Protection, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and assisting various programs in achieving their missions.

In Short

• Prepare documentation for solicitation of goods and services.
• Conduct contract negotiations and provide technical expertise.
• Ensure contract compliance and monitor funded programs.
• Assist with the Minority/Women Business Enterprise program.
• Engage in outreach to educate vendors on procurement processes.
• Prepare MWBE reports and analyze purchase activities.
• Perform contracting functions in various procurement systems.
• Supervise research activities and carry out complex research projects.
• Make recommendations for contract non-award or cancellation.
• Perform background checks on contractors.

Requirements

• Baccalaureate degree and six months of experience in procurement.
• Associate degree and 18 months of experience in procurement.
• High school diploma and two and a half years of experience in procurement.
• Combination of education and experience equivalent to above.
• Eligibility for higher assignment levels based on experience.
