Overview

The Project Coordinator for Safety Projects/Daylighting will be responsible for planning, developing, designing, and implementing street improvement projects aimed at enhancing safety for all road users in New York City.

In Short

  • Work with the Transportation Planning and Management Division.

  • Perform community outreach and prepare presentations.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Maintain a driver's license valid in New York State.

Requirements

  • Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Two years of satisfactory full-time experience in city planning.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Knowledge of traffic calming, urban design, and complete streets.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and oral presentation skills.
  • Community outreach experience.
  • Valid driver's license in New York State.
