Deputy Borough Director of Design - Remote

Overview

The Deputy Borough Director of Design will assist in creating safer streets through the development and enhancement of pedestrian facilities, cycling networks, and transit networks in New York City.

Requirements

• Four years of full-time experience in civil engineering.
• Valid New York State Professional Engineer’s License.
• Master's degree in civil engineering may substitute for one year of experience.
• Experience as a project leader on complex engineering projects.
• Familiarity with street design standards and innovative techniques.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing technologies.

• Strong time management skills.
