Overview

The Senior Lead Counsel I is responsible for providing legal guidance to the Special Assets risk team, specifically for Citi Commercial Bank and Latin American matters. This role requires a proactive attorney with a solid understanding of laws and regulations relevant to the business.

• Provide legal counsel to the Special Assets team.

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of experience in restructuring or finance practice.
• Familiarity with bank products is a plus.
• Knowledge of banking regulations and international laws.
• Experience with complex deals and legal solutions.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Bar license in good standing to practice law.
• Juris Doctorate or equivalent law degree.
