Overview

Citibank is seeking a Markets Analyst to partner with institutional sales teams and provide innovative currency risk management solutions for institutional investors.

In Short

• Collaborate with CitiFX Institutional Sales to promote quantitative strategies.
• Develop active and passive currency risk management solutions.
• Create and deliver presentations on hedging solutions.
• Expand and review currency trading strategies.
• Produce original ideas for new trading strategies.
• Draft client-facing reports and write market commentary.
• Utilize macroeconomic data to analyze exchange rate drivers.
• Conduct advanced quantitative analysis on large datasets.
• Work with financial derivatives for trading strategies.
• Maintain a telecommuting/hybrid work schedule as per policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Four years of experience in quantitative trading or related fields.
• Experience in developing systematic trading strategies.
• Proficient in Python, SQL, and VBA.
• Ability to conduct predictive statistical analysis.
• Experience with financial derivatives and market data.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills for client interactions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of currency forwards, swaps, and options.
