Overview

The Global Security & Executive Protection (GEXP) team at Cisco is seeking a Threat Intelligence Investigator to identify and mitigate risks posed by internal actors, focusing on the digital protection of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and critical intellectual property.

In Short

• Work with the Global Executive Protection team to ensure security for Cisco's CEO and leadership.
• Conduct research and investigations into digital threats against ELT.
• Hunt for insider threats using logs and behavioral indicators.
• Analyze complex datasets across multiple systems.
• Produce investigative reports and support incident response.
• Collaborate with security, legal, and compliance teams.
• Document solutions for emerging insider risks.
• Work in an agile and collaborative environment.
• Utilize deep technical expertise in threat investigations.
• Focus on combating critical IP theft.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8-10 years of experience in digital threat investigations.
• Experience in identifying and prioritizing sensitive information.
• Strong understanding of Cisco products and technologies.
• Expert-level proficiency in Splunk.
• Understanding of programming languages such as Python and C/C++.
• Strong communication skills for technical findings.
• Experience in Counterintelligence or federal government roles is a plus.
