MES Manager - Contract - Remote

Overview

The MES Installation Supervisor is responsible for developing and deploying the MES elements on the shop floor in manufacturing environments, ensuring improvements in production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.

In Short

• Drive definition of business requirements
• Ensure business process design meets requirements
• Lead communications and change management
• Participate in process design sessions
• Assist in developing test scripts and executing system testing
• Provide technical leadership and training
• Facilitate production to meet demands
• Identify and assist with continuous process improvement
• Support Hypercare and Testing for business units
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum of three years supervisory experience in manufacturing
• Experience with Window and Door manufacturing preferred
• Highly developed communication skills
• Ability to supervise and train associates
• Proficient in Lean and 5S principles
• Upper level mathematical and mechanical skills
• Knowledge of work orders and schedules
• Excellent attendance record
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills a plus
