Overview

The Forensic Scientist V will lead forensic projects, manage laboratory operations, and provide expert consultation in forensic DNA analysis.

Requirements

• Master's degree in biology, chemistry, forensic science, or related discipline.
• Three years of forensic DNA laboratory experience.
• Experience managing a forensic laboratory.
• Knowledge of biochemistry, genetics, and molecular biology.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally.
• Experience with Microsoft Office software.
• Understanding of complex technical procedures related to DNA analysis.
• Ability to work in a mission-driven environment.
• Experience in statistical analysis related to forensic DNA.
• Strong organizational skills.
