Squad Leader - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Squad Leader based in Colombia to lead and empower a cross-functional team of professionals with our international client from the automotive sector!

In Short

• Lead and mentor a squad of Developers, QAs, etc.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the squad.
• Collaborate with business product owners and stakeholders to define requirements, user stories, objectives and deliverables.
• Drive the squad's day-to-day activities, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
• Monitor squad performance and productivity, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
• Encourage continuous learning and growth within the squad, providing coaching and support to team members.
• Facilitate effective communication and information sharing within the squad and with external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with other squads and teams to resolve dependencies and ensure successful project delivery.
• Oversee project planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to drive process improvements.
• Promote a positive work environment that values diversity, inclusivity, and creativity.

Requirements

• Great English communication (C1 above)
• Proven experience in a leadership role within an Agile or Scrum environment.
• Strong understanding of Agile principles and methodologies.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve their best.
• Ability to work within a diverse set of client stakeholders.
• Comfortability with owning team's production release management requirements.
• Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Experience with project management tools and Agile data development practices.
