Overview

The Manager of Sensory and Quality Compliance will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety across all aspects of our product lifecycle.

In Short

  • Oversee the full management of the recall plan and programs.
  • Provide training for cross-functional teams.
  • Directly communicate with customers regarding food safety and quality.
  • Manage third-party sensory consultants and participate in sensory reviews.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for manufacturers.
  • Handle customer complaints ensuring timely resolution.
  • Manage customer portals to enhance user experience.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Ops teams for customer needs.
  • Conduct annual recall training for employees.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance management within the food industry.
  • Proven experience in managing recall plans and quality compliance programs.
  • Strong knowledge of USDA FSIS regulations.
  • Excellent training, communication, and team management skills.
  • Experience with quality management systems and software.
  • Self-motivated and autonomous.
  • Positive attitude, adaptable to change.
  • Experience with sensory evaluation.
  • Bachelor's degree in food science, microbiology, or related field preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% to various facilities.
