QA Lead Software Engineer - Remote

In Short

• Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers.
• Define and implement QA best practices, processes, and metrics.
• Develop, implement, and maintain test plans and test cases.
• Plan and execute various types of testing, including functional, performance, regression, usability, and automation testing.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards across the development lifecycle.
• Prepare detailed reports on testing activities, results, and quality metrics.

Requirements

• Proficiency in QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks.
• Proficiency in scripting languages.
• Experience with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test case management tools.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools is a plus.
• Understanding of API testing tools.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in QA roles.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
