Overview

This is a full-time, fully remote position for a Senior Accountant at Chazin & Company, focusing on providing accounting and finance solutions for the nonprofit sector.

In Short

• Manage clients' accounting and finance needs remotely.
• Prepare month-end close workbooks and financial statements.
• Assist with grant management and reporting.
• Conduct audit management and preparation.
• Maintain organization of client files and records.
• Work under the guidance of the controller for analysis and budget preparation.
• Communicate proactively with clients.
• Utilize advanced accounting software and tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• CPA or CFA licensure preferred.
• Minimum five years of general accounting experience.
• Public accounting experience preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of GAAP.
• Experience with data management and web-based applications.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, Excel, and QuickBooks Online.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience in audit preparation.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
