Overview

The Director of Client Finance (DOCF) is responsible for overseeing Charter Impact’s service delivery and acts as an outsourced CFO for clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial information.

In Short

• Oversee financial and accounting services for clients.
• Review financial statements for compliance with GAAP.
• Prepare annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
• Oversee annual financial audits.
• Ensure timely compliance reporting.
• Serve as a liaison to various agencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 7 years of relevant experience required.
• Experience in CPA firms or charter school finance is a plus.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Knowledge of Sage Intacct or similar systems is preferred.
