Based in Germany (Frankfurt), we recently launched our innovative video translation platform and have successfully secured our second funding round. We’re now looking for an ambitious Data Engineer (Working Student) to join our dynamic team and help drive our mission forward.

In Short

• Scrape large-scale video and audio data
• Build and maintain robust ETL pipelines for processing and transforming multimodal data
• Implement automated workflows for data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing
• Work with cloud storage solutions and databases to manage large datasets
• Collaborate with the ML team for model training
• Monitor data quality and ensure consistency across data sources

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Solid programming experience in Python
• Familiar with ETL pipelines and large datasets
• Experience or interest in web scraping and multimedia data
• Basic knowledge of databases and data processing workflows
• Experience with Google Cloud technologies
• Experience of containerization (Docker)
• Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Excellent communication skills in English
