Overview

The Pharmacy Account Manager is responsible for managing client relations with key pharmacy partners, ensuring contractual obligations are met and facilitating effective communication between departments.

In Short

  • Deliver effective client relations with pharmacy vendors.
  • Manage day-to-day pharmacy interactions with accounts.
  • Provide operational support for sales and account management.
  • Educate teams on pharmacy benefits and account management processes.
  • Utilize PBM reporting platform for account reporting.
  • Implement and monitor pharmacy installations across the enterprise.
  • Serve as a liaison to troubleshoot claim issues.
  • Manage inquiries related to Medicare sales.
  • Develop Medicare marketing for 2026.
  • Perform other job-related duties as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • 6-8+ years of experience in high-level account management.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulatory guidelines.
  • Experience in PBM/Managed Care Pharmacy.
  • Effective communication skills with diverse audiences.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
