Manager, Data Analysis - Remote

Overview

The Manager of Data Analysis at Centene will support analytic data needs for the business unit, handle complex data requests, and coordinate analysis and development initiatives to improve healthcare delivery.

• Support analytic data needs for assigned business unit.
• Handle complex data requests and serve as a go-to person for Data Analysts.
• Identify and prioritize data analysis needs to control medical costs.
• Coordinate analysis with cross health plan initiatives.
• Perform analysis and reporting for the Health Plan and Corporate.
• Manage development efforts with technical teams.
• Analyze plan data, including service and clinical trend analysis.
• Develop reports using various data reporting tools.
• Manage, mentor, and train a team of analysts.
• Communicate deliverable expectations effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience; Master’s preferred.
• 5+ years of data analysis experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Previous experience managing cross-functional teams.
• Advanced SQL and Microsoft Excel skills.
• Knowledge of statistics and high-level mathematical models.
• Understanding of health insurance business and claims procedures.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, Power BI.
• Strong communication skills for data storytelling.
