Overview

CC.Talent is seeking a Senior Java Engineer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining backend services that power our multi-gateway payments infrastructure. Your focus will be on creating secure, scalable, and high-performance services using Java and Spring Boot within a distributed system environment. This role demands deep technical expertise, clean system design, and close collaboration with product and engineering teams to deliver reliable and innovative solutions.

In Short

• Collaborate with Tech Leads to design and implement backend services for real-time payment processes.
• Build resilient Java Spring Boot microservices focusing on domain isolation and fault tolerance.
• Develop and evolve payment gateway integrations optimizing for latency and observability.
• Ensure backend systems adhere to security and data compliance standards.
• Architect and deliver secure RESTful APIs for high throughput and external integrations.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline design and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Implement observability and alerting frameworks across services.
• Establish strong unit and integration testing disciplines across services.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Compliance, and Infrastructure teams.
• Respond to live payment issues with support and SRE teams.

Requirements

• 8+ years of backend engineering experience, with 2+ years in payments or fintech.
• Strong command of Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with payment gateways and transaction systems.
• Deep understanding of RESTful APIs and secure system design.
• Proficiency in Git workflows.
• Familiarity with agile product development.
