CBAM Estimator is an innovative start-up that helps companies meet the new requirements of the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) of the European Union. Our goal is to promote sustainability in international trade through intelligent software solutions while simplifying CO₂ emissions reporting and trading.

In Short

Work closely with the development team and founders.
Support the development and optimization of our CBAM software solution.
Lead projects such as implementing new features and improving user experience.
Analyze requirements and create technical concepts for platform development.
Assist with the integration of new tools and technologies.
Support debugging and performance improvement of applications.
Collaborate with founders and developers to develop innovative solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
High proficiency in German and English.
Experience in frontend and backend development.
Proficient in JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
Understanding of UX/UI principles and ability to create intuitive interfaces.
Knowledge of PHP, Python, SQL, server architecture, API development, and database management.
Experience with version control systems like Git.
Strong problem-solving skills and proactive working style.
Interest in sustainability, emissions trading, and climate-related legislation.
Familiarity with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) is a plus.
